From the Director's Desk
Thank you so much to all of our wonderful families who helped out with such a successful Easter egg hunt this year. Just to see the joy on all the childrens’ faces was worth everything!
We have a fun-filled May ahead of us. Our Mother’s Day tea is May 8, where we will honor our mothers and remember them for all they do for us. End-of-the year and kinder graduation is Friday, May 29 in the church sanctuary. Then hold onto your hats! We have a really exciting Summer program planned for everyone. We’ll meet some new friends and say good-by to some old ones. One thing’s for sure, though – we’re going to have a great time! Please see me if you have any questions about this action-packed agenda.
For the children,
Miss Sandi

Care Bears
We are "Springing" right along. Can't believe this is our last month of our school year already. Little ones have grown so much since they have first started. We have had a terrific year of growing, exploring, loving, and laughing with lots of learning throughout. I would like to thank all parents for their help, from making play dough to helping out with the party supplies through out the year. Thank you! This month is going to be a celebration of life. We will be celebrating Mom's with a Mother's day tea. Date and time TBA . Then we will be learning about Bugs & Butterflies, Pond Life and Noah's Ark. Please see your child's calendar for more upcoming events and times.

Already May?
The end of the school year is almost here. I’ve enjoyed your little ones, their humor, wisdom and laughter. Thank you for sharing your child with me. I also will like to take the time to thank all the volunteers for their time as Room Parent and those parents that gave a helping hand at the parties and to those that made play dough! A Buzzillion Thanks! Yet we still have a lot to do in our hive. Review letters, colors, numerals, shapes, and the children will be working on a special surprise for Mom :) Our May themes will be in The Tall Tall Grass (a book written Denise Fleming), bugs, and Mother Goose Rhymes. The Summer will be bringing fun adventures and a lot of water Play!!!
The Lord has been good to us, give him praise.

Super Stars
Happy May! This month will be full of love and remembrance. On May 8th we will be celebrating our Moms by having a “Mother’s Tea Party” all Mom’s/Grandma are invited to this special event. We will also be practicing for our end of the school year program that will be held on May 29th. We hope all families will be able to commemorate this school year with us. Good byes are never fun and we will be saying good bye to some of the students who are taking the summer off before going off to kindergarten. We are looking forward to sharing the summer months with those who are staying on and having fun in the sun!
Blessing,
Mrs. P. & Mrs. Wood

Kindergarten
The last month of Kindergarten is here already! Our class has learned so much in the past months. We are reading, writing, and learning to spell new words every day. We are journal writing about our lives and families. I have heard exclamations of "I like to read, it's fun."
Easter week was busy and fun with crafts, art and songs about God's love for us. The children often start singing, during class time, a few of the songs we learned about Jesus and how he showed us his love. We finish our Bible curriculum with the Bible verse: " Continue to live in Christ rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught."Colossians 2:6-7. Our slogan is: Everyday, grow God's way. I pray that the seeds of faith, that I have planted as a teacher, continue to grow as your child grows. We end the month with our graduation program onFriday, May 29, as we celebrate the promotion of our class to First grade. My prayers go with them as they continue in their education and am happy that I was able to be a part of this important milestone in their lives.
God bless you all.
