From the Director's Desk
Happy July to everyone! We’ve gotten our summer off to a great start so far by exploring our new curriculum themes. We’ve made lots of fish and learned about knights and castles. The kindergarten class made their own castle, complete with drawbridge, that the children have enjoyed.
This month will be even more exciting as we have our Yankee Doodle parade around the school grounds, delve into Old West history, dig up pirate treasures, and finish up by singing ‘round the campfire when we explore the history of camping. What we call camping now used to be a way of life for people in the Bible. When we camp today, most things are portable or disposable. Long ago, though, camping was very elaborate and nothing was thrown away.
If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time to get your child in our program. We can enroll by weeks (instead of months) for the summer, so take advantage of all the opportunity for FUN!!
May you all have a blessed Summer,
Sandi Schubert

Care Bears
Our summer adventures continue. This month we will kick off July in celebration of Independence Day with patriotic fun with red, white, and blue. The school will be closed Friday July 3rd, wishing everyone a safe holiday weekend. The Care Bears will continue to explore other fun themes through out the month like Cowboys in the wild west and Pirates and treasure. Please see calender for the up coming events and themes.
Reminders: Sunscreen - if you would like sunscreen applied on your child please leave your child's sun screen labeled in his or her cubby. July is the last month of our summer session. Our new school year will be starting in August there will be more information to come. I would like to send out a warm welcome to all the new little Care Bears that have joined our class. We are so happy to have you.

Super Stars
Happy Birthday America! This month we will be celebrating the USA and making flags and how to be safe on the fourth of July. Also in July we will be going to the wild wild west and having a Super Star rodeo. We will finish out the month sailing the high seas looking for pirates and treasure. The children will learn that God is our greatest treasure and we are his. Stay cool!
