From the Director's Desk
Now that we’re well into our first month of school, it’s so rewarding to watch the children settle into their routines. We give a warm welcome to all of our new, as well as our returning, friends. Miss Patti is no longer with us in the afternoons, and I am looking to find a new teacher for this spot. In the meantime, you’ll see all of our morning teachers filling in to close our school every day. A big thanks to the staff for their flexibility!
We have a busy month planned with all of our classroom activities, as well as Back-To-School Night on September 10 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. We’re looking forward to a wonderful school year, have some fun activities planned, and thank all of our parents for sharing your children with us!
For the children,
Sandi Schubert

Superstars
Happy fall. The children have been getting to know each other and making new friends. This month we will be starting our zoo phonics and learning all about apples and a man named Johnny Apple Seed. We will also learn how God has made us special and learn all about our amazing bodies inside and out. We will end the month learning about germs with “Germy Wormy”.
Kindergarten
Our school year got off to a great start as we blasted off with an Outer Space theme. We learned about the rotations of the earth and moon and how they orbit around the sun, our star in the universe. We also learned that our earth was created by God and the only one in the universe that we could live on. We learned that God made us "in an amazing and wonderful way," ( Psalm 139:14). We shared " How God made Me Special" with family collages.
We will begin learning letter sounds, sight words and learning to print these on line paper neatly. This month our themes are: Our Senses, Farm Animals, Fall and Apples. The Bible character trait for the month is obedience with Samuel as our example. The Bible memory verse is : "We will serve the Lord our God and obey Him." Joshua 24;24. Our slogan is: "What do you say? Let's obey!"
Be sure to check our Facebook page for pictures of activities during the year!
Blessings to our families.
