Please also try to check out our website and/or like us on Facebook. It’s a great way to stay connected to your child’s school experience, and keep abreast of all the new happenings at STEP. Believe me, there never seems to be a dull moment!
Additionally, I would like to express my gratitude to all of our families here at STEP. I have worked at many, many schools over the years, and I can honestly say: you are the nicest families I’ve ever worked with! Thank you for your dedication and love for your children. It shows every day the children are here!
Blessings to all of you,
This time of season is so much fun.
The little ones crunching leaves discovering what they will see.
This month Care Bears will be learning about their Five Senses, Good Manners and being Thankful.
Learning Concepts: Color- Brown Shape- Rectangle
Bible Concept: I should be Thankful to God
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. Psalm136:1a
Reminder to Parents: Please make sure you check your child's monthly calendar for up coming school events.
We were truly Busy as can be! In November we will learn about the first thanksgiving and sharing what we are thankful for. We will continue to do Fall activities, Learn about Squirrels, scarecrows and why leaves fall off the tree. We will have a month-long unit on the five senses and have on hands exploration activities at the science area.
Our Special November prayer will be: “As we gather at the table we bow our heads and pray, We thank God for our food and the blessing of the day.” Amen
I thought I'd let you know what I am thankful for: My family, God, our Country, our school, the children here and their parents, the teachers and Mrs. Sandi! It’s a wonderful pleasure to work at STEP.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving
Just a reminder, it is a little cool in the morning so please send a sweater for your child or just keep one in the cubbie. Don’t forget to write their name in the inside label.
